Welcome to my Spark-Page! I'm glad you've decided to take the time to come visit with me. I'm a 46 yr old, work-at-home Mom of 2 girls, Ages 14 & 11 yrs old, married for 19 years and struggled with eating healthy and exercising regularly most of my life. I know I need to live a healthy life. I currently am not healthy. I lack energy and motivation. I don't eat properly (skipping meals and catching up later is not a good thing.) I have digestive issues. I've NEVER had digestive issues in my entire life. I want to feel good. I want to look good in my clothes; not frumpy, like I do now. I have maintained an exercise routine in the past. But when I fall off the wagon, I fall HARD. And usually the reason I fall off the healthy eating/exercise wagon is because I have to take the focus off of me and focus more on other things . I am not good at 'juggling' I guess. I must LEARN to incorporate my exercise & healthy eating into the times that get extra stressful for me. Eating healthier, exercising and focusing on my goals must be made a priority in my life . Motivation is a key factor for me as well, so I look to you, my Spark-mates for help in this area. I know I am responsible for getting FIT & LEAN....no one else can do it for me, however, I know that encouragement from others that are going through the same thing will help me along this journey. I hope to make blogging here on SP more of a priority. Getting out my feelings and sharing my triumphs and struggles with others will help me understand myself better. My Goals:

DAILY:
~Drink (8) 8oz. glasses water
~Take Vitamins
~Exercise 3-4 x's a week
~Strength Training is Important!
~Eat healthier
~Get more sleep!


My Program:
I'm not following any set program.
* Drink more water
*Eat less sugar
*MOVE more!

I believe losing weight has a lot to do with your attitude and your mindset. When I am not focusing on what I want to accomplish and just 'let' myself eat whatever, that is how I end up out of control all over again.

    I read this on fellow Sparker MADAMEAJA's blog this morning and I just had to share...

    My plan right now is simple:

    Eat Well
    Exercise
    Laugh (and cry)
    Make connections with people
    Meditate

    Without the goal of attaining a certain weight, or running a certain distance, or counting calories or fitness minutes, but with the goal that this minute is the most precious because it's the one I'm in right now.

    No matter how much weight you have to lose, it is still a struggle sometimes. But if you remain positive AND consistent, and enjoy the whole process, you will be successful!

    I, too, volunteered at my church's VBS this past week. I'M EXHAUSTED! lol
