My goal is to lose 38 pounds so that I feel more comfortable and have more energy. I'd also like to develop more awareness about eating and more self control. Also I want lower my blood pressure.
I'm eating a healthy, mostly vegetarian diet. Getting plenty of plant proteins. I have a daily treat so that I don't feel deprived and to make it as easy as possible.
I have celiac disease so am always looking for healthy high protein gluten free treats and ideas. I love baking!
Thanks for the comment on my blog! I completely agree with what we should be promoting - health versus skinny. Then again, we get into troubles defining what that "health" is, just like we have trouble defining what that skinny is since it can differ so many people and make girls and guys with larger frames or those that carry more muscle naturally to try and fit themselves into a place they don't belong.
I posted another article this morning, I'd be interested in your take, not necessarily as a response to the previous one to which you replied, but perhaps as "the other side" of the debate - where muscle and strong is the height of sexy, not skinny.
