January goals:
1. drink 10 cups of water a day
2. Block out 60 minutes daily, divided for cardio/strength/yoga
3. Track my food/fitness daily
4. Lose 9 pounds in January
5. Start piano lessons

I live in Oklahoma City, I have 3 granchildren who have lots of energy. My 2 grown children and their families
live very close to me.

I love to read; mysteries and suspence, and historical romance.
I love being around creative people, and learning new things. My favorite movie is Gone with the Wind. Recently I watched chocolat again. I like to put a book on my mp3 player and lose myself in it.

Yep, crunch time for us in OKCPS, I actually think I will like the new 'year round' schedule.

I find after 8 weeks I am rested, and plus the next few weeks are so hot, so hoping the A/C works but we will manage. Then after each 9 weeks or marking quarter we get a break. So in Oct. we get 2 weeks, 3 @ Christmas, and then in March 2 weeks again instead of just 1, then it is a short stretch to May and we are out again.

So, yes, we are back early, but by Oct. I know most teachers are ready and I suspect the kids are going to like it as well. We shall see.
