I have needed to attack the other "half" of me for TOO long. I was slow to get on the bandwagon, even after finding SP, but I want to be the energetic, athletic person I was when I weighed half as much. UPDATE JUNE 1, 2010 Got blasted off the path after having surgery and forced bedrest. I'm back and have regained some weight. . .sigh. I had to remove my badge of honor regarding loosing 100 lbs. I'm trying NOT to be negative. I am focusing on small goals at a time, which is what I'll be showing on my ticker. It would depress me too much to think about the total weight to reach my goal. I will also add, that I won't really know what a realistic goal is until I get closer.

My Goals:
Restarting the program here in 2010. 1. Loose weight. The scale is the easiest measurement. Even though it can give a warped picture, I'm using it for now. I'm setting short-term goals to help keep me FOCUSED! Goal 1 REACHED! Goal 2 See progress bar. 2. Exercise every day, which can be just walking. I need to get back in my grove of moving! 3. Stay away from ANY fast food. I don't always make good choices and even when I do I steal fries from my kids. They don't really need it and neither do I! I'm not including Subway because I need to have some quickie option. However, I will commit to NO soda, chips or cookies with that sandwich : )
My Program:
Mainly sticking with lower carb, higher protein and lower fat. I cycle it up to allow for some cravings and keep me from eating the same thing all the time. HIIT aerobics and some intense weight training are the goals, but due to injury there will be no workouts for a while. I'm very discouraged by that.
Personal Information:
Currently living in the Northwest after surviving the culture shock of moving from the south. Married with four kids (2 boys & 2 girls). I quit my job to stay home with these marvels and be their teacher. Let me tell you I could start my own, "Kids Say the Darnedest Things!"
