Dropped 20 lbs by 5/3/15 - want 17 lbs. more by 10/1/15

Gerry here at the Jersey Shore, dropped 20 lbs. by May 1st 2015, achieved my short term goal and then some!

Our month long RV trip planned to the Grand Canyon in September 2009 was put on hold because of an emergency angioplasty and stent installed in my 100% blocked left circumflex artery on 8/14/09.

I remember my Latin teacher as well. But we didn't get into a lot of translations. I recall learning the verbiage which helped a ton when I went to school for an RN. Latin is so common in the Medical profession as you know. Made learning the terminology so easy to learn. Did read the "tales" though. My teacher was also my English teacher and she was tough but we learned from her.

Hi Gerry! Yep, both of my parents also had bypass surgery. The luck of genetics. I plan on following up with cardio rehab, but that's many weeks away. Now my goal is to walk to the mailbox and back without stopping to rest!

Gerry, I have a Spark pedometer and can set my walking goals to my ability. When I make that goal, I get a glow getter award. When I continue to get them daily, I then raise the step numbers and work towards the new goal. It's a reward for me to make my goals every day. Hope this helps. Have a great night and Sunday!!

Thanks for sharing with me about your knee issues. It makes me feel better this week as you certainly seem to keep active!
