My short term goal is to lose 10 pounds by April 30, 2009. My long term goal is to get to 125 pounds. If I lose 5 pounds per month, I should hit this goal sometime around the end of October. That seems so far away!
I will aim for 45 minutes of cardio 5 times per week and 3 toning sessions of 20 minutes each per week. I am going to stay within my calorie goals every day and drink 8 glasses of water every day.
I am from the Indy area. I'm married with 2 kids. I love my family, my friends, music, and God.
My favorite book is the Bible. My favorite verse is 1 Peter 5:7 "Give all your worries and cares to God for He cares about you." My favorite band is Matchbox Twenty. My favorite singer is Rob Thomas. I love to travel and to volunteer my kids' school.
I noticed you changed your goals- is it working for you? I hope you are happy, and doing well! Have you seen any good shows lately? I had a hilarious "dance party" with my 3rd graders yesterday to ACDC- it was classic!
Just stopping by to say hi. I hope you're doing well and getting back on track this year, like I'm trying to do. Thanks for your kind words to me and consistency on our posts! I think we have a great team.
Don't know about you but so far I am loving the New You Bootcamp. I started out my new years workout plan with working out 20 mins Monday -Thursday and 10 mins every other day of the week. I have done my 10 mins everyday since the first. This morning the bootcamp challenge gave me the extra motivation to completed 30 mins PLUS the bootcamp video!
I hope your holidays were joyous! I totally understand about the "break" in tracking food and decrease in working out over the holidays. It's hard when you want to spend time with your family and friends. We were lucky wnough to get to stay in Colorado, so I've been getting some work in, but also giving my body a little break from running. Well, in the big picture, 1 pound really isn't all that bad, and we will just work harder this month! Do we have a January exercise post yet? I will check!
