2 Steps forward - 1 step back

I am determined to get heathy, fit, and lose weight. I have started so many times and fallen off the wagon, I can't even begin to tell you...but I know that I can do it. Slow and steady wins the race. I know that even if I do fall off the wagon, I can get back on track and not just throw the towel in!

I do have a challenge with exercise as I have joint problems and arthritis. There are days that I cannot exercise due to pain - but I do what I can, when I can.

I have also been told by my doctor at one time that I am pre-diabetic, and am fearful of becoming a full-fledged diabetic, so this helps to keep me motivated.

Personal Information:
I am from Crystal Lake, IL, and also have a residence in the northwoods of WI. I have 7 grandchildren, with whom I love to spend time. I reside with my husband. We are both retired, although I do have an AVON business, which I enjoy! I am a 9-yr. breast cancer survivor.

Other Information:
I love to read, have a Nook-but read hard copy books too. I love to fish, and watch movies. I loved the Twilight saga - the first and 4th books were some of my favorite books. I recently read Anticancer: A New Way of Life, by Dr. Schreiber, which I reocmmend highly to everyone, even if you don't have cancer!
