Yes - most of us had that time in our life when we were much younger and would say -gee i can eat anything and not gain a lb.
wow - what is that expression again - oh yeah - young and foolish

At 30- my weight was in control - weighed 142 -fit worked out size 7/8 (I am 5'9"so very slim)

35- hmm did these jeans shrink in the dryer - oh by the way pass me another chicken wing please :0

40 - What 172 -no freakin way how did this happen -duh - i ate crap ...

At 42 (the photo i have posted I weighed a healthy 153 - and yes weird as it seems a size 8? I guess i have more muscle. I meet a fantastic super guy and been with him for 3 years now - and along came the dreaded

Almost 20lbs gained in 3 years - what the hell???
So this is it. I told him, honey you are over 6 feet tall, and 210 - I am not over 6 feet tall and do not need to eat as much as you.

It is all about portion size, because truthfully we eat extremely healthy - i dont know the last time i had a pop (soda for you americans) or anything deep fried , and dont even get me started on drive thrus - I havent been through one for fast food in years.

So calorie counting is were it is at. I started on January 1st - yep I know the big kickoff day for most of us - buy hey so what at least I started.

We have a vacation planned for Punta Cana on February 25th and if you look in my photos there is a shot of me in a black bikini -that is my goal - getting back in that bikini and yes I was 153 lbs.

This year turning 45 and I am vowing to myself and to all of you that this year will be the year of health and fitness.

I am here for all of you in your battle no matter how little or how much you want to lose - the best thing you did was make that decision to change your life and get healthy again

My Goals:
My goal is to look and feel better than I ever did when i turn 45 this year.

I want to lose minimum 20 lbs

I want to gain muscle and have great abs:)

My Program:
I will burn 3000 calories a week at the gym

Cardio -30 minutes on bike
Free Weights - work arms and legs every other day - abs every day

Cardio - 10 -15 minutes after weights

Calories -max 1500 a day - attempt to clean eat as much as possible - 80% there

Personal Information:
I live in Whitby Ontario - 1 hour east of toronto - live with my fantastic guy Brad for years now - we have 2 cats Georgie and Rambo, no children.

I have been in the retail/wholesale industry for 20 years.

Presently a retail buyer at a very large office supplies company.



Other Information:
I enjoy cooking, working out - travelling is a must every year.
Huge movie fan and trivia buff.

I have always had a healthy lifestyle no smoking and not much of a drinker.

Really saw what is important in life after my nephew passed away 6 years ago from a rare disease at the age of 81/2 (the movie Lorenzo's Oil is about his disease ALD).

I meet my guy 3 years ago and he showed me how it really feels to be loved.
He is the sweetest my considerate man I have ever meet and I am very lucky to have him support me 100% in whatever I do.
