My Goals:
I want to learn how to get healthy again through diet, exercise and positive life-changes. I'm hoping to lose weight steadily--even if it is slowly--so that I can feel good again and do the things with my family that I'm just plain too tired to do now.

My Program:
1500-1600 calorie diet. I count carbs, proteins, fiber and fat content of all foods I eat and stay under the prescribed number of each per day. I eat 3 small meals and 2 small snacks. I also try to pick the carbs I do eat from the lower end of the glycemic index.

Personal Information:
I live in SW Pennsylvania, near Pittsburgh. I've been with The Love Of My Life, Jesse, for 30 years now. We are still incredibly happy.

Between the both of us we have 7 children, and 15 grandchildren.

All dearly loved, and all spoiled rotten whenever we get the chance!

Other Information:
I like to embroider. Free-form stuff, not the machine type . I also love to read. Anything paranormal or supernatural is right up my alley (true ghost stories are a particular favorite.) I very much enjoy history and genealogy research. I like antiques and restoring old furniture. Flea markets are my idea of heaven! I'm trying hard to learn to speak Italian as I hope to visit my grandparent's birthplace in Italy sometime in the near future. Sure would be great to lose some of this weight before I go trying to trudge up all of those rocky hills in that little Italian village!
