I am a 44 year old mother of three who loves her life, just not the way she looks or feels on most days. I live in North Carolina, love sports and being outside, oh and Jesus, too. Last year my husband lost 100 pounds (not on Spark People) the hard way...by changing his eating habits and lifestyle. It has made him a much happier and healthier man. My goal is to join in in changing lifestyles and becoming healthy. I long for our family to be able to truly enjoy being active together. And another goal I have is to get back into regular sixed womens clothing.

UPDATE 10/2011: This month I have been sparking for 6 months and have achieved several of my goals. It's time to add some new ones. I'm working on that, but for right now I want to see my weight leave the 200s forever!

* to keep making strides in living a truly active and healthy lifestyle and enjoy it (DONE AND KEEP DOING)
* to exercise with my husband and kids (DONE AND KEEP DOING)
* to feel better physically and emotionally
*to get back into ladies sized clothing (instead of womens, with all the X's and little style) (DONE 9/2011)
* do a 5k, couch to 5k (DONE 7.2.11)
* to RUN a 5k
*to RUN a 5k in 45 minutes
* to do a 10k
* to do a half marathon
* to do a bike trip that involves hills
* to do Bear's Athletic Conditioning Class
* to weigh 199 lbs.
* to weigh 190 lbs.
* to weigh 185 lbs.
* to run the Disney 5k with my daughters
* to do a sprint triathalon


My Program:
* to exercise 4-6 times a week (cardio at least 3x)
* strength train 2x/week
* 1450 -1800 calorie diet
* drink 8 cups of water /day
* cut my intake of diet soda to 2/day
*exercise 1x/week with my daughter Ruth
*TRACK MY FOOD DAILY
