Fat and Sassy minus the Fat.

I'm working hard to get healthy and lose some weight. But I still got to be me, and that me is a smart-alekey big girl with attitude. I tell it like it is when it comes to my life. The good, bad, and ugly (and a lot of times it's the ugly).

My Goals:
Be more active, healthy, and slimmer. (And I'm not gonna lie - I want to look good in a bathing suit!)

My Program:
I've cut my calories down to under 1800 a day (most of the time - THAT'S HARD!) and I'm trying to get in at least 1 hr of walking a day. I start at 5:30 for 30 minutes with the terriorist (aka my pit, Bentley) and then work for another 30 minutes during lunch.

Personal Information:
Hi! I'm Vicki. I'm a California native, a wife of 20+ years, a mother of a "starving" college student and a senior in high school. We have a pit bull puppy named Bentley, who is bent on the mass distruction of my house. I'm a State employee and spent 14 years in customer service - I love working with the public.

Other Information:
I'm an Alice in Wonderland fiend (long before the movie came out), I read like crazy (I'm addicted to my Nook), I love scrapbooking, cooking, Halloween and Christmas. (I also love wine, chocolate and parenthisis)

Hey Marylin Monroe was a size 16 and considered a sex symbol. America has a distorted sense of size. Damn us for not using the metric system! LOL

Thanks for visiting my blog. A dress from '89? Let's see...that was the year before I got pregnant with DS1, which means I was lifting weights at the Y every day with my DH and looking REALLY buff and in a size 6...yeah, I've got a ways to go. Then again, 8 IS the new size 6, isn't it?
