After one year (2013) of being active again on Spark, I lost over 70 pounds, attained my final weight goal and am in the best shape of my life. This time I've gotten it right! Lifestyle changes, not just diet!
Now I've maintained in my goal range since the beginning of 2014, learning my limits and enjoying my new healthy lifestyle and body! Goals are now to keep improving - to run longer and faster, and to be stronger! I love training for new challenges!
*As of 12/17/12: Lose 50 pounds, start eating better, improve physical conditioning, be able to go hiking and other outdoor activities as well as keep up with my grandsons.
*Updated goal 7/6/13: Lose total of 58 lbs.
*Final Weight goal: Lose a total of 70 lbs.
*1/12/13 - 10 lbs. lost.
*2/2/13 Completed the January Fitness Jumpstart Challenge.
*3/2/13 - 20 lbs. lost.
*3/2/13 Completed the 28 day Bootcamp challenge.
*4/6/13 - 30 lbs. lost.
*4/17/13 Completed the 5K for Rookies program, and ran my first official 5K!
*4/20/13 Completed Winter 5% Challenge - lost 16 lbs. (9.2%).
*5/25/13 - 40 lbs. lost.
*7/6/13 Completed Spring 5% Challenge - lost 10 lbs. (6.5%).
*7/27/13 - 50 pounds lost!!
*9/14/13 - 60 pounds lost!!
*9/21/13 - Completed Summer 5% challenge - down 10 pounds (7%).
*12/7/13 - Completed Fall 5% challenge - down 11 pounds (8.2%).
*12/21/13 - Lost 70 pounds! Reached final goal!
I will do cardio exercise (running) 3 times per week. I'll get back to doing regular strength training 2-3 days per week, Iron Strength workout or Bootcamp videos.
I will follow my SP recommended diet, tracking all food eaten every day, and staying in goal maintenance ranges.
Weight: Maintain weight in 120 - 126 range.

I live in South Florida, Eastern time zone, am married to a wonderful man, also a Sparker. Our daughter is married and lives about 4 hours drive away, with her husband and our 3 grandsons.
Commitment is the key to anything worthwhile...if it's not important enough to commit, it won't happen.
Back in December 2012 when I made the commitment to get serious about this health thing, I didn't really know what it would take, but I made it a priority and stuck with it!

I am the ML For the Dawggies,,,, it takes quite a bit of time to organize and use the info from the Vet Records onto the spreadsheet, but the team definitely benefits,,,, and it's FUN to learn so MUCH !
