Here's to Health!

My name is Heather. I have pretty much struggled with weight all my life and spent many years losing and gaining the same 40lbs over and over again. Now that I'm in my 30s, I feel like losing the weight (for good!) is more critical for my health than for vanity. I am determined to live a long and healthy life and these are my first steps towards that!

My Goals:
* To lose 10% of my body weight
* To workout 3-5 times per week
* To sleep 8 hours a night
* To laugh a lot :-)

My Program:
My husband and I are currently doing a 21 day "cleanse" where we are eliminating the following from our diet:
* Gluten
* Dairy
* Refined Sugar
* Alcohol
* Caffeine
* Soy

After 3 weeks, we'll start adding one thing back into our diet per week and monitor how our body reacts (if at all).

I lost 6.8lbs the first week! The first 3 days were the hardest...horrible headaches and longing for Halloween Candy ;-). But now that we're over the hump, every day is getting a little easier.

Personal Information:
I am currently living in MN. I have 2 dogs, work in IT, and would love to move back to the south someday!
