Hi, my name is Molly and I'm a gastric bypass post-op patient working at living successfully with my surgical tool. Like being an alcoholic, I think maintaining my healthy weight is a day-to-day struggle...sometimes a battle. Journalling my food intake here on Sparkpeople has been such a blessing.

I've recently fallen in love with Bento lunches (and breakfasts since my job starts early in the a.m.) and appreciate all the lovely photos people have shared on the internet. Bento is really helpful in preparing varied, nutritious, colorful meals that feel very pampering at the same time as being healthy.

Welcome to Gastric Bypass Sparklers! You’ll find plenty of support and encouragement here. No question is too stupid to ask, so post away and we’ll all put in our two cents worth. Utilize all the tools SP has to offer. I find tracking my food and exercise most helpful. Good luck on your weight loss journey!
