Been fighting my weight for decades. It's time to win this war!

In 2013, I want to focus on me: my physical body, my mental health, my activity level, etc. I also want to get my house in order and organized, with a place for everything and everything in its place. If we don't use it, it will get a new home.

I am also going to challenge myself more to step outside my box and learn new things.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose enough weight to feel better about myself, fit in the clothes I currently have, and to not worry about develop weight-related health problems (diabetes).

My Program:
I am planning the meals created at home, cooking from scratch more, and eating more fruit & vegetables. I am also beginning to walk more, though problems with my knee prevents me from doing too much.

Personal Information:
I live near Ithaca, NY, with my boyfriend, 2 sons, and step-daughter. I work as an executive assistant, so I sit a lot during the day. I love to quilt, play on the computer, and read. All sedentary tasks. So, I need to get up and be active.

Other Information:
I have a problem getting started doing anything, especially a fitness or weight loss program. Motivation and knowing where to begin are issues that I struggle with. Any help would be greatly appreciated! :-)
