I joined SparkPeople in December of 2006. With hard work and dedication I lost twenty (20!) pounds in about thirteen weeks.

That milestone was reached in March of 2007. Since then I've lost that level of motivation. Right now I don't exercise much and am not choosing the best food options.

Fortunately I had been doing just well enough that I've been able to stick around the 10-pounds-to-go mark on the scale.

Starting July 6th, 2009 I will be on the Fat ...

I was born with a congenital heart defect and scoliosis. This prevents and/or limits what exercises I am able to perform.

Fantastic weight loss!! Welcome to SP and the Eat Right team. Nice to have you join us. Lots of encouragement, advice and support here. Be sure and sign up for Spark America and when you set up your exercises, just remove any you can't do or don't want and put in those you do. Make sure you schedule a day for Cardio so you have access to the "Other exerxises" page. It has walking, housework, playing with the kids, moving boxes etc. Then set up reminders in your Appointment Calendar and when it comes, use it to go to fitness and check them off as you do them. SP will keep track of them and your calories burned too for you. Use your spark points page to help you use and learn all the great features of this site. Drop by our pages for a visit too when you have a chance. Again, welcome to SP & the team!
