2008 - Year of the Races

In 2007 my goals were to run a 5K (March 2007 - completed), a 10K (May 2007 - completed), and a half marathon (October 2007 - not completed). I also planned on a 2008 marathon.

Well, it's 2008 and I have new goals:
15K - March 2008 (completed, 1:38:06)
10K - April 2008 (completed, 1:01:47)
Half Marathon - May 2008 (completed, 1:25:00)
Century Bike Ride - May 2008 (dropped out at 54 miles)
10K - July 2008
Marathon - September 2008

...

I've now gotten to the point where not only can I keep up with my husband, sometimes he can't keep up with me! I have a few more pounds to lose, but I'm more concerned with fitness now than weight.

Congrats on beating your goal for the 10k. It sounds like we ran in the same race. Portland Oregon's Bridge to Bridge to brews? I ran the 8k (my first race) Thank goodness we had nice weather (COLD though)

I am very impressed with how active you are! I run 9 miles yesterday and I certainly wouldn't have been able to bike 40 miles today... LOL
