FREEDOM
Nothin' much to tell. Iam trying to lose weight because I was tired of looking fat, feeling fat and dressing fat. I joined Sparkpeople at 237 pounds and have been told my idea weight is 187 so that's what Iam striving for.

My Goals:
My personal goal is to get to 200 pounds. When I get to that point I will set another weight goal. Even though I just joined Spark my journey actually started at about 268 pounds.
My Program:
My program started when I brought a treadmill in July of 2011 and set it up in my family room right in front my TV. I dont consider myself on a diet, but this is what I started doing. 1: Walking 1hr a day, 2: I stopped buying cooking grease. I never fry food at home. I eat fried foods occassionally when I eat out, but I havent fried food at home in over a year. 3: I stopped buying junk food. I eat it occassionally as well while socializing, but there is none in my home. I buy veggies and fruit for my home so when I wanna snack this is what I snack on.
Personal Information:
Iam from Fort Wayne, Indiana and 48 yrs old. For the first time in well over 10yrs I have the freedom to be who I wanna be. Thus the name of my page is "FREEDOM". Maybe sometime in the future I will blog about the word FREEDOM and tell you what it really means to me and what brought me to this change in my life. Stay tuned!
