Hi everyone! I am a 23 year old mother to two small children! Luckily, I have a husband who is very helpful & supportive and that has really helped me along on this journey I'm on!
I've tried to lose weight before... SEVERAL times, actually! Have I lost any? Of course! I lost up to 50 at one point, and that was by taking diet pills, and you wanna know what happened? It all piled back on, plus some! I've tried the "popular" diets, diet pills, and pretty much anything you can imagine to lose weight, and I have found the same with each of them.. It always piles back on! I have learned that if you do not change your lifestyle, you'll NEVER keep the weight off forever! SoOoO... this is how the journey I'm on now differs from any other! I am doing it the right way... NO short cuts (unfortunately...lol)! I am cutting back my portions (I always used to over-eat), trying to overcome my emotional eating habits(I have HORRIBLE emotional eating habits), and adding exercise... and LOTS of it! I have found that I really enjoy exercise & it always makes me feel better!!
I have learned a lot of things I did not know, since I started this journey and if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them to the best of my ability!
2010 was the first ENTIRE year that I actually set out on a weight loss journey, and STUCK to it. I wasn't always perfect by ANY means, but I stuck it out, and that deffinately paid off. Towards the end of the year, I quit exercising regularly, and that hurt me, BUT I'm proud to say that on 1/1/2011, I was 34 pounds lighter than I was on 1/1/2010! I hope to lose that much again in 2011, plus a little more! Honestly, I am taking it slow, because I want this to be something I can stick to for the rest of my life!!

I plan on weighing in on Thursdays, so my first weigh in was on the sixth!
I am cutting down on my portions, being more aware of what I am putting in my mouth, and adding lots of exercise into my routine!
I LOVE GOING TO THE GYM!!
I'm just a southern gal from Central Arkansas... If you wanna know more, just ask...
I can't wait to reach my goal weight, so I can post AFTER pictures! MAYBE then, just MAYBE, I will post my very first "before" picture!!
I'm not really sure if I have anything else to tell.. I think the other boxes pretty much sum me up!
