Getting the gamer out from behind the computer and into a more active, healthier way of living!
I love video games. I always have and I probably always will. I also enjoy writing. Problem is, most of these things require me to sit in front of my computer all day. I also have a desk job which means, you guessed it, more sitting. I have recently gotten a membership to Curves but after a month, I find myself having trouble sticking to my 3 days a week goal. I also was a Weight Watchers member, and I saw results but due to tight finances, I had to stop my membership. That's why I'm here on Sparkpeople. I wanted a way to keep myself reminded of my goals and to help form healthy habits. I'm easily put off from things I know I SHOULD be doing, in favor of things I WANT to be doing instead. I'm hoping to use this website to keep me interested and excited about working out and eating healthier. I've already started testing a few recipes from the website and I think I'm in love. ~ Melinda

My Goals:
I'm starting with being under 200lbs by May 1st of 2013... my 32nd birthday
My Program:
Just trying to eat much healthier and smaller portions. Also sticking with the Weight Watchers method of eating all the fresh fruits and veggies I want without counting them. It worked great for me in the past. Also working out at Curves 3 days a week and trying to squeeze in walks on my off days.
