i am a married 30 year old woman with an almost 3 year old daughter.I have been married to my highschool sweerheart for 5 years. We dated 9 years when we finally tiedthe knot. i gained 85 pds with my pregnancy, had a traumatic postpartum and was put on zoloft for postpartum anxiety/ocd and postraumatic stress. now i am just left with anxiety and i am on 50mg of zoloft and weaning lower. but i am left also with weight from pregnancy and zoloft so trying to loose that for a better healthy me.

I do believe that on day i will be at my goal weight and than i will be off medication. I need to be patient, hve willpower, and determination that this is pssible and that i will succeed at all my goals.


as you will se my wedding picture when i was 120 pds. i am now 214 pds.and hoping to loose 54 pds. But i was a whopping 228 back in May.

Week 1: Was hard to get use to certain foods
Week 2:Got bad heartburn and indigestion got scared and that was like a pusher to weightloss
Week 3:Still battle sick stomach
Week 4:Feel much better with stomach but want to continue on the weightloss. I CAN DO THIS!!!!!
Week 5:weigh in time and just taking it day by day.



(Back in May of this year 2008) 228lbs

Starting Weight: 214 (omg!) 09/29/08

OCTOBER 08

GW: 10/10/08 = 208
GW: 10/17/08 = 203
GW: 10/24/08= n/a
GW: 10/31/08= n/a

NOVEMEBR 01 2008 (I will be doing my first 5k run/walk on November 1st.)Completed! finish in 45 min.

GW: 11/07/08= 205(boo hoo gain 2 pds)
GW: 11/14/08=201

Did another 5k 11/15/08 beat my time from first one finished in 41.33 minutes. Did not stop for 2 miles i stopped 1 in my 3rd mile for a minute i cramped up.

GW: 12/05/08=206(waiting for ok from doc to excercise)
GW: 12/13/08=201.5


I AM DOING ANOTHER 5K THIS SUNDAY 11/23 ....accomplished time 42 min.......................................

My Goals:
Long term: Loose 54 pds by July 24 2009

Medium term goals:

Down to 200 November 28 2008-

Loose 16 lbs. by 01/23/09-
Loose 32 lbs. by 04/24/09-Loose 48 lbs. by 07/24/09-

1. to loose at least 54 pds by july 09.

2) to be at a healthy weight of 150-145.

3) to be off zoloft.

4) to have another baby in 3 years.

5) to run 3 miles without stopping.

6) I will be doing my first 5k run/walk on November 1st -followed by and one on nov 15 and a third one on nov 23

My Program:
i went to a nutrionist who told me to eat 3 meals and 3 snacks. but with all my meals to eat protein.

I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks and i try to add protein in my meals and snacks.

I consume 1200-1300 calories a day

I workout cardio 6x a week and 3 days strength training. I have to push myself.

Drink lots of water

No Pop

Very minimal carbs only when i have a sandwhich or english muffin and it has to be wheat.

I want to get into a spinning class.

i reside in ch-town the windy city.


Other Information:
I love the outdoors. Jogging at the parks or taking walks . I read when i have time or play with my toddler. I love doing things with her especially going out. i hate being indoors unless i am tired and feel like being in.
