One day at a time....

New here and taking it one day at a time!

I am simultaneously tackling a few items in my life -- nutrition, weight, fitness, credit (FICO), and career development.

Full time student, full time worker, full-time wife, and 2 part-time side gigs. Busy schedule has been my excuse for not taking control of my weight gain over the past 3 years. But NO more EXCUSES ! I went from 135 to 162 in 3 years -- *whew* I really had to take a deep breath to even admit that. But ...
New here and taking it one day at a time!

I am simultaneously tackling a few items in my life -- nutrition, weight, fitness, credit (FICO), and career development.

Full time student, full time worker, full-time wife, and 2 part-time side gigs. Busy schedule has been my excuse for not taking control of my weight gain over the past 3 years. But NO more EXCUSES ! I went from 135 to 162 in 3 years -- *whew* I really had to take a deep breath to even admit that. But here I am.: Me and all my flaws are standing proud for everyone to see.

Lets do this! :)

The plan for NUTRITION & FITNESS:
Eat better - consume more protein &less carbs (A girls best friend). This is hard for me since I'm not a big meat eater and I hate nuts, so I need to make sure to consume protein somehow. I can go a whole month with no meat.... I need to figure out a way to incorporate it into my diet.
Drink Water - I barely get in 1 glass of water in an entire week. The goal is to have 3 20fl oz bottles each DAY!
Exercise 5 days a week - I'll be gyming it Monday thru Friday b4 work.
For now, I will be weighing in every 2 weeks instead of every week.

The plan for my CREDIT (FICO):
Join a support website (myfico) and engage in the forums
Research & learn
Lower my credit card utilization
Maintain on-time payments (currently at 24 months of no delinquencies)
Secure new credit trade lines and grow with them

The plan for CAREER DEVELOPMENT:
Join a Professional Association within the field
Attend 2 conferences per year
Network/Connect with 1 new established profession each month
Conduct 1 Informational interview each month in 2013 with veterans in the industry
