Hello, my name is Gail and I am looking to loose apx. 40 lbs. by the end of the year! I have one amazing son who is 12 and a wonderful and supportive husband!
My husband and son run and I wish I was more physically fit to keep up!! (not running, just keeping up with them physically).
I am trying to watch what I eat and not get seconds or overfill my plate and to increase exercise. I am doing the Body by Vi challenge and Turbo Jam and Zumba



Goals:
1st: reach 180 lbs.

2nd:175 lbs.

3rd: 170 lbs.

4th: 165 lbs.

5th: 160 lbs.

6th: 155 lbs.

7th: 150 lbs.

My Program:
I am trying to watch what I eat and not get seconds or overfill my plate and to increase exercise. I track everything that goes in my mouth with a focus on calories and sodium! I am doing the Body by Vi challenge!


My exercise program:

Turbo Jam or Zumba

Strength training

Walking and biking




Personal Information:
I am 43 years old, married with one child. I live in New Harmony, IN. My husband and son are very active and fit, I would like to not feel so out of shape!

Thanks, for my Spark Goodie, and note. I'm not doing too good at the moment with my program, in fact, I'm going to create a new one for myself, hopefully soon. It's been about two weeks ago, my brother was taken to the hospital, and found out he has lung cancer, and it's in stage 4, already. They said it's the fast acting kind, caused from smoking. At the present, he is suppose to go to a rehab center, possibly on Monday, take therapy. He still has chemo to go through, the next round of that will be on August 1st., so have to take it one day at a time, and see how things goes. I'm trying to watch what I eat, and have been doing a lot of walking in the hospital to get to his room, and such. I'm not going to quit, I just have to take a little more time to get with my program than I thought. Hope you are doing well, and Bless you. Have a great week-end! emoticon

I went through that stage when my son was small. I tried and tried to lose weight but always fell back, then later in life I managed to get to a size 8 from a size 20. Now, it seems I am finding sweets again and having a hard time so I am at a l4 size and working for a size l2. At Tips for Writing we not only talk about writing, but health issues, which I used to write about, and losing weight together, helping and supporting our members. That alone is enough to want someone to at least give Tips for Writing a try. Join this wonderful group of men and women trying to lose weight, while others are trying to write.
