A year down and many more too go!

It's been just over a year since I started my journey, it's been a real eye opener to say the least. I've lost a total of 52 pounds and I fluctuate between 3-5 pounds from there. I went from a 16 to a 6-10 depending on how the clothes are made. I now feel comfortable enough to go into maintenance mode and be able to stay right within my range, as long as I can keep up my fitness I'll be okay. There were lots of steps, lots of life lessons, and lots of "oh my gosh!" moments it was ...

Baby steps gets you through your journey, I always say that and in my case it is getting me through with a few detours but I'm getting there!
Always keep in mind that there will always be detours in life and as long as you keep trudging along one step at a time you will always make it back to your path and get you long into your journey!

My Goals:
I have increased my fitness, learned how to eat better and make wiser decisions in what I eat! Now I'm a few pounds from were I would like to be 4 to be exact! I want to get to that goal and then maintain!

My Program:
Journaling everything I eat and all of my fitness. I'm running at least 12 miles a week and would like to gradually increase that to 16. My slacking area is strength training. I used to be faithful with it and now I would rather run than do strength training. I just need to get better with everything that I do!

Personal Information:
I have a supportive husband who at times does not understand my thought process, and 2 great girls one in high school and one in elementary school. Both of them are at the complete other end of the spectrum with personalities and age! They definitly keep me on my toes!

Other Information:
I live in Colorado and love it here! I love how sometimes it's warm enough in the winter that I can run outside instead of always being inside! I work full time, take kids to sporting events (even their own). Trying to balance life can be very difficult but is definitly worth it if you can do it and do it well!

Hey Kelly- we are stuck in Upstate NY until more work comes to the Phila. they can place him on another site. There has been no new work in Philly(that's rough for people there).
Now that the weather is good, we are traveling to the New England states for some long weekends when we don't get to go back home. Making the best out of our situation.

THANKS FOR THE HUG KELLY. I HAVEN'T BEEN AROUND MUCH EITHER. I HAVE SO MUCH TO DEAL WITH AT HOME AND AM NOW HAULING AROUND A 9 POUND LEG BRACE WHICH REALLY TIRES ME OUT. IT TAKES ME MUCH LONGER TO GET THINGS DONE AND I GET TIRED VERY EASILY. SO SPARK HAS KIND OF FALLEN BY THE WAYSIDE. BUT I AM STILL LOSING - JUST NOT REALLY USING SPARK TO DO IT. I WISH I HAD MORE TIME AND PERHAPS I WILL LATER. BUT THANK YOU FOR ASKING AFTER ME.
