i am very thankful for my children. but lets face it, im not one of those lucky ppl who just looks like a model during or after pregnancy. pregnancy and childbirth has been hard, left me with stretchy skin and stretch marks! add in breastfeeding, up and down hormones and post partum depression, it pushes me to my limits & tests me to be better. it has been and will be a lifelong journey to stay in the best shape i can for myself and my family. i am very thankful i get to stay home with my kids. i have a lot of interests and try to find pleasure in the little things.

i started having eating issues at 15 years old, and those issues followed me into adulthood and marriage. it has been a long road to learn moderation, self control and to treat my body and food with respect. BUT the results are SOOO worth it. i have cried many tears, sweat buckets, even bled a little and had a few small injuries but it has all been worth it. my body finally trusts me, and i trust it :)

i started my journey of health and fitness after my first son was born, and thats when i got a sparkpage. it took me about 9 months to lose 55 pnds. it felt like an eternity. but it has stayed off for good! there have been times i have had to give it more hard work and dedication that others to maintain it. but still always worth it.

it does get easier but there are still hard days, the things you have to work for in life are far more rewarding than the things that are handed to you.

last year i had the honor of having my weight loss story featured in goodhousekeeping magazine's annual weight loss issue. it was quite an honor. just goes to show you never know who is watching :)

Yes! I have about 10 to lose as well. I was wondering the same thing. But I know it coincided with stopping nursing too. Right now my sisters and I are trying to do emails to keep each other motivated. I am doing the 30 Day shred for 30 days straight. On day 12...lagging but doing! Let's definitely motivate each other!!! emoticon emoticon

HAHAHA. Diana I love you (and I miss you!). But you have to keep in mind - the 10,000 minutes is over the life of my being on Sparks. Which is two years today!
