Gabbzies' weight loss quest

It has been almost four years since I was at my heaviest, at around 230. My mother died that year, and I finally (more or less) decided to lose the weight. 2009 sucked in any and all ways possible, but I am excited about the prospect of 2010 and the changes it will bring. I am on board for real this time, and will get to 150 by July 1st. Extra impetus - a bet a group of us made.

Welcome to the Couch to 5k running group!!!! Stop by the message board and introduce yourself to the team. On the team page you will find a thread for each training week. Click on week one and post were you are at in your training. This is a great way to meet others who are in the same phase of training as you. Some of my best friends were in my training week one and we worked through the program together sharing victories, questions, comments, and ideas. I look forward to learning more about you. I will be popping in on the Weeks 1 - 3 training to help answer any questions that might pop up and to cheer you on to your goals! Be blessed! Be a runner!

My family, my extended family, Eric's family...I had 4 bottles opened this weekend, plus we got one as a gift!
I just realized that our bdays might not be enough time, but let's see what we can do by then.

I've been pretty good siknce Jan, but between St. Paddy's and the engagement I've done nothing recently, so let's go! I'm trying to aim for my bday (as a random date, not for any special reason).
Btw a the note on the engagement: I haven't been hugged so much since I was probably a toddler and I may be developping a drinking problem from champagne...
