Goals accomplished so far:
I shop regular sizes. I can walk up the stairs at the hockey arena easily. I have lost 27 pounds & gone from size 18 to size 12. I am 54% of the way towards my goal weight. My son & I eat much more healthfully.
To lose 5% of my body weight in the Winter Challenge!
To Run a 5k race in 2012
-done Oct. 2012
To Run a 10 km race in 2013 -I've signed up.
To break into the 150s.
* Well being, both physical & emotional
* Sex Appeal
- Take it bit by bit, not all at once.
- Track my food intake.
- Learn positive self talk.
- Walk the dog 1-2x daily.
- Attend Pilates weekly.
- Keep nutritious food at home.
- Eat at least 5 freggies per day.
- Keep my eyes on the prize- to be at a healthy BMI.

When I joined Spark People, I weighed 194 lbs & was a size 18.
(About 4 years before that, I weighed 206 lbs.)
In 2011, with SP, I have lost 27 lbs. I am overweight, not obese & I'm now size 12.
I have been in Mommy mode for a long time & now I'm starting to take good care of me!

LOl yea besides the health reamifications in that pic. I hate how her bra is so tight and panties roll down the belly. I have that issue with my hysterectomy fold. argh.

Thank you for commenting on my Grouse Grind blog. Such an interesting point, that it took you longer each subsequent climb, because you knew what was coming. I am going again next month, for a friend's birthday (maybe I started a trend! :) and I PLAN on shaving 10 minutes off my time. We shall see. I have begun incorporating stair climbing back into my fitness regime. There is a staircase in a park not far from my house - it is 110 steps so I would only have to climb it 35 times or so to simulate Grouse! Even then, though, it is not even close because, of course, after every 110 steps, I go DOWN which sure isn't an option with Grouse. Plus, the steps are level which is also not an option with Grouse, as you know.
