Time to Get Fit!

Ten pounds to lose. I can do this!!! I have been in a holding pattern since I went back to work after my mat leave. Time to get serious.

My Goals:
- to eat healthy food all day

My Program:
Last summer I learned that I was having a lot of calories as snacks. Since then I have been more careful with portions.

This summer I am going to commit to kettlebell class Mondays and Wednesdays. Got to get this belly fat off.

I actually gained 2 pounds. I thought it might be more since I totally PIGGED OUT and I am not used to drinking wine, either!! Here we go...

Ready to get back into this now that we are home from the girls weekend? I gained at least one pound with all that heavy eating and am looking forward to some clean eating this week!

Oh, and the other thing is that for the first time last night, I did not have late-night junk food! I had a huge bowl of cherries (70 calories per cup!) and my husband ate peanuts(170 caol/3 tbsp). He can get away with it since he is a painter by trade!

I have been doing this for 5 days now (a few days were on the sister site babyfit) and have lost my first pound! Yay!! The big changes were that I no longer crave sweets during the day. When I brought my son home from the hospital at the end of April, I was eating ice cream and cookies in the middle of the day. I just had 1.5 nutella sandwiches and I actually feel kind of sick. The other .5 was my 2-year-olds lunch that he didn't finish - another habit I need to break!!! Onwards and upwards...

I have changed my nutrition goals since I am nursing. I was using babyfit, but I would like to share progress with my non-nursing friends.
