I'M NOT GIVING UP!!!!!!!!!

Update 11/21/15: I finally accepted that I needed more help than I ever wanted to admit. I had the gastric sleeve procedure on 10/13/15. I had no pain, no sickness...it was just the most incredible experience. I have never felt this good in my entire life. I am consistently losing 2-3 lbs per week, with the exception of week 2 when I lost about 10. This is the best decision I've ever made for myself!!!

HW: 372.0
SW: 339.2 (preop diet took me from 355.8 to 339.2) ...

Update 1/6/15: My one and only goal right now is to be able to say I lost 50 lbs in a year. I was only 6 pounds away from that before I moved and then the usual holiday gain hit. Now, I need to go from 340 - 320 by March 31st. I think that is a very realistic goal. I keep telling myself that this isn't rocket science. If I do certain things I WILL achieve certain results. No maybes, no ifs. If I eat right, drink my water, and exercise, I WILL LOSE WEIGHT and BE HEALTHIER!!

Update 4/13/14: Yup, here I am again!! For the past two years I've been unable to stick to any type of healthy eating/weight loss plan for even a full day. Two weeks ago, a wonderful co-worker pulled me aside and told me that she's tired of watching my out of control downward spiral. She said she was looking into the Atkins plan and thought it would be something that would work for me. Would I please give it a week for her because I obviously don't care about myself? I agreed. After just a couple of days, I went from feeling like I was at death's door every single day to feeling really good! Even if the weight wasn't coming off, it would be worth it to feel soooo much better. But, lucky me, the weight is coming off. I've lost 9.2 lbs in two weeks. Of course, I'm not following the plan perfectly. My portions may not be exact and I probably consume more cheese than I should but I will work on those issues. I also need to work on less processed foods. This is the first time I've ever FELT such a difference. I must have some form of carb intolerance to see such a drastic difference. I will be staying in the first phase for quite a while because this weight just needs to come off and at this point it just doesn't matter how!

Update 6/13/13: Well so much for the heading at the top of this page...apparently, I gave up! The last weight I logged here in November of 2011 was 296.0. I am currently 360 pounds and have been in that range for about a year. I literally feel like I'm dying, physically and emotionally. I came here today to find ACTIVE groups who have as much to lose as I do and there are very few. I just know that if I don't do something, I'm going to die and yet, I can't seem to change.
