Hello, I'm Tara and I have had problems with food now for many years. In high school I was the opposite of what I am now. I took so many diet pills and starved myself. So yes I was thin and went to skinny very skinny. I became pregnant and knew I had to knock off the eating disorder. Gained weight but had other things on my plate at the time school, work, a kid I honestly had no time. Then like magic one day the weight just started to melt off. I had to try and convince people that I didn't start up my eating disorder again...well come to find out I had a thyroid issue. It was working over time. Honestly, I was not in a rush to fix it..why would I? Well like most health issues it got worse and I had to get it removed. I was told that weight will be a struggle for me for the rest of my life. Telling someone with my history of food issues this was devastating. I can lose weight then my levels can go all out of whack and BAM I gain 20-30 lbs in one month. I have found it depressing, and discouraging. I do watch what I eat...I wont lie and say it's all the time, I do work out as well. I have good days and I have bad days...I am human. But I am doing this THE RIGHT WAY. I am not taking diet pills (as hard as it is), I am working out, I am still eating (and not puking it up) I am making progress but my journey is far from over...

You're doing so much my friend. Be very careful with that knee - have you thought about do less on a daily basis rather than huge efforts all at once, a bit worried about your knee!!! Its lovely to see you walking with us again this month though.
