Hello, I am here, I guess. Trying to get out of bed these days. I think I have Adrenal Fatigue Syndrome. Ever hear of that? Taking herbal supplements for it. Hopefully, it will give me the energy I need. How are you doing?

Hi Amy! I just wanted to answer your question about my running. About 18 years ago, I did a lot of running. I belonged to a gym back then and did a lot of work on the StairMaster machine. That strengthened my legs and gave me a lot of endurance before I ever started running. My running worked out well that year but I got away from it because of life stuff. This year (a better example), I was over 260 pounds at the beginning of the year. I spent a few weeks using the treadmill doing fast walking. I burned out the first treadmill and was banished outside by the family! (LOL) I continued with the walking and slowly started to mix some running in starting in February. It was just a matter of increasing the running portion slowly. There is a C25K (Couch to 5K) team (I have it on my page) here that can give you a plan to follow to slowly build up your running. Check it out. You can do weeks over again if you have trouble at any point and just progress at your own pace. Give it a shot and don't worry about how fast or slow you are going. If you build up the minutes and (eventually) miles, the speed will come along. Good luck. Feel free to ask me any other questions you may have. Take care.
