Losing Weight as a Spiritual Journey

I am planning on using mindfulness and spirituality to help guide me to where I need to be on this weight loss journey. I am interested in learning more about Buddhism, and I hope that using mindful eating will be one of the practices that helps deepen my commitment.

My Goals:
I hope to lose weight, of course. I also hope to develop my practice of mindfulness. Mindful eating, mindful breathing, mindful living.

My Program:
1. Planning my food for the day.

2. Cooking most food myself.

3. Low sodium, fat, and high fiber.

4. Vegetarian food plan.

5. Daily practice of meditation, mindful breathing, discovering and living the path of Buddhism

Goal for today:
Avoid idle snacking during meeting today & tv tonight.
