Ceramics-Lise

I am a ceramist. I teach and sell and excibit.
I live near the sea - so I make weekend workshops in the summer where people can stay overnight in tents in my garden and work both indoors and outside with their pieces of stoneware ceramics.
In winter I teach every 2nd Sunday
And Monday evening I teach disabilitied people
plus have private lessons during the week.

I love living at the countryside. I love the people here and the surroundings

My Goals:
1. It is me rowing in the rowing club without the feeling that the person behind me looks with disgust on my fat.

2. It is me in a clothes shop where I can buy smart clothes and donīt have to go out again and not been able to fit in any of the clothes I wanted.

3. It is me walking up the stairs with ease

4. It is me that has regained the habit of moving myself every day - Either on bicycle or doing something

5. And have obtained a habit of doing exercise every week

6. I donīt feel clumsy any more

7. I donīt feel ashamed and wondering that that fat lady in the mirror is me

8. I donīt say yes every time a friend offers me cake - and I donīt overeat. I have a goal of dignity at the table

9. And I love my new body

My Program:
I am concerned about exercise and eating more vegetable and fruit and fish

I was SO excited to see you are joining our April Antics challenge!!!! It is great to see that you and I have some Sparkfriends in common :)

I really hope you enjoy the group. We are quite chatty, very supportive of each other, and very engaged in helping everyone live an active, healthy, and balanced life.

Thanks for congratulating me, it was a tough week staying in my calorie range so I was kind of proud of that pound. emoticon

I notice you've been tracking a lot of exercise. That's so awesome! It motivates me to watch you do so much. It's sort of like "Well, if Frida11 can row for an hour, I can at least take a walk for 10 minutes." So you've been a great influence! My kids thank you too, because now they can walk with me, and they love that.

Sorry its taken me a few days to get back to you. I check Spark Mail when I think about it which is 1-2x's a week. Leaving a comment on a blog entry or my Spark Page is definitely the way to go if you'd like a faster response!

Walking, tracking food, sleeping, working, having fun is all part of daily life for me & its not all that difficult really. My step children are older so they can do much for themselves and the SO works a lot so I do most of my activity and sleeping when they are occupied with school & work. I sleep a good 7 hours, get up and have my meals round the same time every night and day. Tracking food is easy because I have groupings and recent foods to click on since I'm a creature of habit when it comes to foods. I work from round 10pm-7am & on my breaks I have breakfast and a snack usually. I also fit in some movement and exercise where I can while I am working. I like outdoor walking so about an hour and a half after I wake I go out for a 2 hour walk usually. Dinner is in the crock pot or pre-prepped so all I have to do is heat it in the oven or on the stove.

Sure there are some days that get busy but planning ahead food, exercise, sleep, taking vitamins, working and housework is like a second skin to me since I am very organised. On the weekends and sometimes during the week the family exercises with me and we talk during those times so its quality time. I'm committed to my health in all areas and great health means I can live life to the fullest as much as possible!

Thanks so much for the friend add. I have been diabetic for 15 yrs. At one point I was able to get off the meds. Of course I gained the weight back. For me and I know it doesn't fit for evetyone.....I eat two -three fruits a day. I do my very best to not get sugar from other sources. Eating something real as opposed to processed works well. I still have trouble with salt,pies,ice cream but, I'm trying.
