Time to take ME back!!

I have been on SparkPeople on and off for awhile. I keep coming back because it works! Each time though, I ask myself...why did you give up?? I woke up! This last year or so has been very difficult for me personally after the break up of my marriage after 17 years. Everyone is doing fine now and I am feeling better about my situation, but it has left me about 40 pounds heavier.

I decided to take ME back after realizing that I was actually gaining weight each and every week. I felt tired and depressed all the time. I rejoined my gym (we had to give it up after the separation) and I am loving working out again. I forgot how awesome I feel after my Zumba sessions.

So here it is, close to the holidays and I am starting my weight loss journey again for the last time. I decided to start now rather than wait...no time like the present!

Glad to see I'm not the only one trying to go high sodium out there! :) We're not really sure what the deal is with me, but when I was young and over-thin (ahh, high school) I used to pass out at the drop of a hat, especially on hot days. And since I lived in Houston, that was pretty much all the time. Right now, I'm trying to figure out what I need to do nutritionally to combat some wicked fatigue after a good workout and to keep myself from getting so dizzy when I'm lifting heavy at the gym. The doc suggested salt loading so that's the kick I'm on now.
