My 50s - going for more earth-conscious health and wellness!

My Goals:
Getting fit and living vibrantly ... healthy, wealthy and wise. Into slow food, local sustainable farming, and evolving spiritually. My daughter's PETA materials have compelled me to return to a Veg lifestyle!
My Program:
Currently, I just discovered Erin O'Brien's Strong Body, Fit Body DVD, and Patricia Moreno's IntenSati DVD. I also like being active outdoors - hiking, bicycling, walking, kayaking. Studied Jim Karas' strength training interval workout philosophy. Have formerly used walking DVDs by Leslie Sansone and Debbie Rocker, with a weighted WalkVest, and the 3 DVD set of Keeping Fit in Your 50s w/ Cindy Joseph & Robin Stuhr (Strength, Aerobics and Flexibility).
Personal Information:
I was born in Dallas, TX, raised in Shreveport, LA and Nashville, TN, lived in Florida, lived in Atlanta, GA, and am now in Arkansas on a temporary basis. Planning on moving to southern California next summer. I am a Mom, Artist, Designer, Photographer, Humorist, and Entrepreneur type.
Other Information:
Movies, Music, Books, and Enlightenment! Favorite movies are A Hard Day's Night, Room With A View, The Philadelphia Story, Hot Fuzz, The Graduate, Cocteau's Beauty and The Beast, Sullivan's Travels, Pirate Radio, Manon of the Spring, Laurel Canyon, and SO many more. Music is mostly pop and rock - from old school Motown and Beatles, to the B-52s, Roxy Music, Cat Power to Miles Davis, Joni Mitchell to Little Dragon, Mahavishnu Orchestra to Elvis Costello, David Bowie, Rihanna, Chill, college rock, and again, SO much more! Books are the same ... I love all the free-spirited "groupie" books from Catherine James, Pamela Des Barres, Morgana Welch and Pattie Boyd. I love books about the business of rock-n-roll, like Chris O'Dell's memoir. I like Energy Psychology subjects (self-hypnosis, etc.) and particularly love Bruce Lipton's books. Southern writers like Sherwood Anderson, Flannery O'Conner, and Zora Neale Hurston. Coffee Table art books and SO many mo
