First day of the great Sparks adventure

I am a 51-yr old mother of 2. My goal is to reach a healthy weight where I can feel better about myself and eventually get my 'new' diabetes under control. I have been working on this for almost a year now, but I'm hoping that this plan will help me to keep better track of how I am doing and where I can improve. I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Liked your comment about still reading BUT getting up to move around! I was just reading a couple of chapters of The Spark (lying on a coach, in the sunshine, with my precious doggie) but at the end of the chapter jumped up to get moving! Off to get the mail (3 flights of stairs down and 3 back). emoticon

I just wanted to post a quick WELCOME to the 50+ members with 100+ Pounds to lose TEAM. We're so glad to have you join us. Please jump in and have a good time getting healthy. This is an excited group of folks and really active team so you should be able to find all sorts of inspiration and motivation. Just jump right in. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. There's always someone willing to help in any way possible. Don't forget to use the food/water tracker that spark people provides as well as the fitness tracker.
