My Goals:
- To get to and maintain a healthy weight.
- To fit into my old jeans.
- To lose all those extra pounds I gained in college.
- To feel confident in everything I wear.
- To be able to wear a bikini for the first time in my life.

My Program:
- Keep track of what I eat on nutrition tracker.
- Keep it to 1500 calories a day.
- Exercise at least 3x a week.
- Weigh myself everyday.

I asked for Strength...
And God gave me Difficulties to make me strong.

3. Focus on everyday habits
4. Always see your goal
5. Be consistent
6. Never stop learning
7. Come out of seclusion
8. Allow for setbacks

It's the last day of July ...a good time to reflect upon your goals for August! Things to consider may be...

How many fitness minutes do you want to try to achieve?
How many pounds would you reasonably like to lose?
What new activities would you like to try?
What has been working for you that you would like to continue?
What hasn't been working and should be changed?

Not everyone likes to set goals, but it is a valuable tool to use on this journey. Goals help to provide focus and a vision for what we want to accomplish. Even if we fail to meet our goals, the experience provides valuable feedback --- What went wrong? What behavior do we need to change to attain what we set out to do?

Take a few minutes ... challenge yourself with some goals for August!
