You did really well on the cruise. Congratulations.
My goal was to stay under a 3 lb. gain. I gained 2.5 lbs. I had a terrible scare on the 4th day of the cruise--I weighed myself at the gym and the scale indicated a 8.5 lb. gain. The first few days I did extremely well, but as the week went on, I gave in to some desserts and a few drinks. I freaked, but then my sister reminded me that I didn't know if the scale was accurate.
I made my sister take the steps with me almost every time instead of the elevator--sometimes walking 8 to 9 floors. I loved it, but she didn't. A couple of days it was quite warm outside so I walked the promenade deck. I also hit the gym most days. All-in-all, it was a great vacation without feeling deprived.
Glad to be back home. I hope to have the 2.5 lbs. gone in 2 weeks. 999 days ago
“Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it.” –Plato Your May fitness log reflects your commitment to the protection and preservation of your body.
That's encouraging news. I figure with all of the walking, that it might be a trade off. I already stay away from most bread--it adds up too quickly. How can I find you on the FitBit site? I got one a couple of weeks ago and having trouble finding my friends. 1011 days ago
