My Goals:
Run three to four times a week throughout 2012

Work up to 20 miles per week with a six mile long run

Be able to do a bridge up and a tripod headstand

Get more trail running in

Finally achieve my goal weight of 118-120

My Program:
Track my food - if I commit to this, I actually lose weight. Really, it's that simple :)

Running three to four times per week. Biking when the weather cooperates.

P90x for strength training and plyometrics. I use this occasionally, not every day

Hey, will you let me know when you find a good yoga dvd for beginners? I'm in the market for one of those too. I think it improves running, but also balances the body. emoticon

Where did you start looking for used cross country ski equipment???

Thanks for the reply back.....haven't gotten those skis yet, but now that Christmas is over, I'm going to check out play it again sports.

Thank you for your response to my Warrior Dash SparkBlog. Congrats on your Warrior Dash as well. It was tough but I am glad I completed the race. I have received a couple of emails advertising the run for 2012. Believe it or not I am considering it again...but I need to get past all the cheating I saw. I have emailed the promoters but they are not much help and basically said they did not have the manpower to stop the cheating. I told them they need to level the playing field somehow. They grossed over $600,000 just in Oregon alone. I suggested they put sensors at the top of each obstacle. Should an obstacle be missed assess a strong time-penalty such as 10 min./obstacle. So far I have not received a response on my suggestion.

Hey sugar! Thanks so much for the blog comment! The sushi was amazing! We'll definitely be going back for sure!! One's gotta stay positive during this time of year - especially with weight loss/maintenance...there's no point in getting frustrated with things one has no control over! haha! And the winds were terrible here - they're actually estimating over 1 billion in damages so far! EEP!

And I agree about the indoor workout thing. I've got a treadmill so I was actually thinking about doing the C25K program again with more of a challenge - maybe Level 10 inclines on my runs and walk with arm weights & curls for recovery...just to get me through a good 8 weeks of workouts with some strength training in there too. Kudos for doing P90X - Tony Horton REALLY annoys me, so if I do the workouts at all, I've gotta put them on mute!

I've got a bunch of workout DVDs, but I'm short on free time - so its hard to get myself a good workout in 30 mins or less...maybe that's something I'll have to work for (since P90X and Insanity are usually 45min to an hour long)
