I started in October of 2004 at 293 pounds, wearing a tight size 24, sometimes a 26. I've been up and down... three times, I have managed to get down to 223 pounds (size 16), but then I revert to old habits and my weight creeps back up again. I was back in my upper range again in 2009, but ended the year by recommitting to healthy eating and exercise.

I'm more than halfway to my goal now (60 pounds down, 38 to go), thanks to Alysia Gadson & LiveFit Revolution!

My Goals:
I want to stick to my diet, drink loads of water, and get in exercise every day (jogging, exercise DVD or elliptical).


Milestones I'm shooting for:
At 263 - 20 pounds lost = fresh bouquet of flowers
accomplished 4/10/10

At 250 - New exercise DVD - accomplished 5/10/10 - bought myself a new kettlebell instead!

At 240 - Clean out the closet, keeping only my favorite clothes

At 230 - Clean out the "unmentionables" drawer... toss the old, get some new!

At 222: Lowest weight in 20 years = new hairdo

199... OneDerLand = salon treatment

My Program:
I have a diet/exercise feature on my computer. I'm using that to track my calories and exercise.


For exercise, I'm doing the Couch to 5K training program, doing walk/jog workouts Monday, Wednesday & Friday. I try to get in 3 kettlebell workouts a week, and fill in with 30 minutes of exercise (walking, elliptical, exercise bike, DVD) to keep me moving 6 days a week.

On April, 19th, 2010, I started a 6-week kettlebell bootcamp with Alysia Gadson & LiveFitRevolution. Love those kettlebells!

I have all sorts of DVDs: T-Tapp, Kathy Smith, TurboJam, Slim in 6, The Firm, Walk Away the Pounds... I like variety!

I sell Watkins products (anybody need vanilla?) and I'm the Box Tops for Education coordinator for my kids' school, so if you're not saving them for anybody, our little school could use them!

I sooooo want to go to Hawaii someday! I think when I get to goal, I might be able to convince hubby that a tropical vacation would be an appropriate reward!
