I am a on a mission to lose weight. Becoming a healthier person is a serious desire that will make life easier. My new hobbies are improving on crocheting and sewing, learning to knit, and teaching myself to play piano. It has made my transition easier and has given me full days of enjoyment.
This is my 39th year of marriage. We have two grown children and four wonderful grandchildren. Although, they all live away, we are always excited to see them.

I live in Pensacola, and I lived a year down in Hollywood and LOVED it there and wish I'd have stayed in the Miami area, but then I did live six months in Orlando (Winter Park) and didn't like it at all.

I started at 214# so you are where I was so do this for you. I haven't gotten to my goal in the last 7 years but then I've never been back to that awful start.

Welcome to Indigirl! Read your comment today. The most you can do is your very best. While I don't know what your health issues are, I can tell you that losing even a little bit will help your numbers on your blood work. Your goal is walking. Get out there several times a day when it is cool. Now is the best time of year for us Floridians to get outside. I love to hike in the preserves around our county! My best to you.
