In high school, college and some after I was very overweight. I am embarrased to say that I was a little over 300 pounds. I lost 70-80 pounds in the last 5 years. In the last 2 years I have gained at least 20 pounds back.

I am on medicine and doing my best to eat what is good for my PCOS. It is still hard to lose weight but in the past 6 months I have lost 10 pounds.

I do need to lose more and I want to feel better about myself. We are TTC and I know dropping at least 20 pounds will help. I know that my body is not meant to be skinny, but I need to lose to feel better about myself and be healthier.

I was kinda wondering if the machine was wrong too because Spark said for 20 minutes I should have burned about 400 something cals. I never stopped and I booked it. I did 1.5 miles in 20 minutes.

I guess it probably burned because I haven't done the elliptical in years so maybe once I keep doing it, it won't burn as much.

I will just keep doing it and hopefully my legs will get used to it.

The elliptical should burn more calories than most exercise. It may have been incorrect but you probably burned more than you thought! Try messing with the stride, incline and resistance so your legs don't hurt!

Good luck this week! It's going to be a tough one! Don't deprive yourself but watch your portions and know that exercising a bit will allow you a little indulgence! :-)
