Never, Never, Never Give Up

I am 40 years old and tired of struggling with my weight. I have spent the last few years putting on weight and feeling bad. I am tired of those feelings and ready to get back to the "ME" I know is still in there somewhere! I just need to focus and remember to take some time for myself. My Goals:
1. to lose 50+ pounds
2. have more energy
3. make this my life and not something i continually start and stop
4. be the person i know is still inside me!
5. to be able to run for more than 5 minutes at a time!-Goal completed! C25k-5/08
6. 2009-to run a 10min or less mile!
7. to run a 5k


My Program:
1. stop self sabatoging my efforts!
2. log my food
3. journal with spark blogs
4. cardio 4-5 days a week
5. strength train

Other Information:
I realize I need to make these changes for life. I am tired of bouncing back and forth and always feeling like a failure. I want to feel good about myself and not dread getting dressed every morning or having to look at myself in the mirror.

Hey Girl!!

Thanks for checking in with me. I'm still keeping on track with my eating, but my running has fallen to the waist side. You have good timing because I was going to get back out today and do some C25K (of course starting over again for the 2nd time). I have let the snow be an excuse for me, which is very bad!!

How is your running going???

Hey buddy! I did Week 2 day 2 on Wednesday. Getting shin splints. :( I really need to back off. I may take at least a week off, while continuing some walking, strength training and stretching. I'm so sad, but I don't want to make it worse.

How's it going for you? I'll be back in the game soon! Keep me posted on your progress too. I want to be here for each other and have accountability!! Keep on running!!
