Thank you for the information! I will definitely check out the groups page...I love that they ride on Saturday:) Many of the groups I have found ride on Sundays...when I'm in church, LOL.

I have never ridden with a group, thus far I have done all of my outdoor riding at Silver Strand, the 56 bike path, the Oceanside bike path or near Las Pulgas (all protected bike trails). I am wary of riding the streets by myself, but thought if I cam with a large group I will be safer. How far do you guys usually ride?

Hey! Thanks for liking my advice. That really meant a lot. I've tried to live according to that advice for as long as I can remember. And there have been times when I've had to implement Plan B. . . and occasionally Plan C. But, I've lived one heck of a life so far. And now I'm on this journey. . . :)

And it looks like you're making great progress on your journey as well. Way to go!
