trying to get healthy.

Hey everyone, I'm Gloria. I have been struggling with my weight for sooo long since i was a little girl.. i have tried diets but always because i am sooo use to easting anything that when i am on a diet i forget about my diet plans all the time.. it never works... but i really am trying... so i am hoping to find sum encouragement here.. and friends here that don't mind reminding me daily of my goal.

My Goals:
1. I wanna be healthy.

I have 3 kids and 2 of them are toddlers.. i need to be healthy and energetic i would love to be able to run around and play with them with out losing my breath sooo fast.

2. I would love too look better in my clothes.

I have such pretty blouses and i have all these baggy jeans.. when i go shopping its very limited cuz of my size.. i end up getting clothes i am not comfortable in just cuz it kinda fits. I would love to be able to dress the way i really wanna dress with out worrying about if ppl are staring cuz i'm big.

3. I would love to be comfortable with my body and self image.

Right now when i hang out wit anyone.. i feel humongous. its a horrible feeling . my closest friends aren't super skinny but are at a healthy weight and i find my self looking at them with envy... i wanna be able to be proud of my self that way.

My Program:
Calorie intake of 1200 to 1550, i exercise daily... and i drink 8 to 10 cup of water daily.

Hi Gloria and welcome to Spark People. Thinking of this not as a diet, but as making some lifestyle changes has been what has kept me going on. Every week is not a losing week, but I know I'm on the right road. I've been trying to kick these last few lbs. out of my life since April, and only yo-yo-ing. We can't quit, because we're going to get this done sooner or later if we keep on keepin' on! Wishing you the best in your healthy lifestyle endeavors!
