Iíve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, itís a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!
Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success!
As to my success, I've not been doing anything special, really. I've stuck close to my nutrition calorie range; drank my 8 (or more) cups of water; tried to eat more fruits, veggies, and whole grains; and exercised. I joined Curves and do that 3-4 times a week, plus walk at a fast pace (usually around 16 minutes per mile). In the winter I shoveled snow. :o) My fitness goal is to burn 1300 calories/week, and I've met or exceeded that pretty consistently.
