i'm ready to start this new walk in my life.i've talked to my husband and he is also ready,we have been married 24 and a half years we are very happy together we ment in Dec,1983 he asked me to marrie him just two weeks of meeting him but i felt he was the one so i said yes we married 4 mo,latter in April 1984 we have two great sons 23 and 22 one doughter inlow and a wonderful grandson who is 15mo's old.my husband and i like to spend time with are kids and grandson also we like to ride are ...

things i like are cook books most that are from people that put them together like churchs,and work places.I enjoy spending time rideing are harley with my husband,I like spending time with my kids and there family.we have 3 small dogs and one very very loud bird.and we go to church.

Iíve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, itís a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!!

Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success!

As to my success, I've not been doing anything special, really. I've stuck close to my nutrition calorie range; drank my 8 (or more) cups of water; tried to eat more fruits, veggies, and whole grains; and exercised. I joined Curves and do that 3-4 times a week, plus walk at a fast pace (usually around 16 minutes per mile). In the winter I shoveled snow. :o) My fitness goal is to burn 1300 calories/week, and I've met or exceeded that pretty consistently.
