Ready to be FIT AND FABULOUS in the FALL with the Black Panthers

My name is Jennie and I have been a part of Sparkpeople since May of 2014

My mom passed away on 12/14/14 surrounded by her family as she left this life - she struggled with food issues and had finally gotten control of it when Sarcoidosis halted her. I need to do this for her and be healthy and keep my family healthy!

I have been having a tough summer - my husband and I are having a trial separation and it's very difficult but I'm hoping to use this time productively ...

I definitely need to get back on track in the fall so I'm very glad to be part of the Black Panthers!

My Goals:
My goals are to get healthier, eat better, lose weight and feel good about myself.

Short term goal - to reach 155lbs (or less) by 11/27/14 when we go to Toronto to celebrate my husband's great grandmothers 100th birthday! The last time I was there (3 years ago), I felt very unhealthy and want to go this time feeling good about myself. Let's see what I can do in 135 days.

Long term goal (hopefully by next summer): feel good enough to put on a bathing suit and go in a pool with my sons (COMPLETED this summer) and take more pictures of myself with my kids (still working on this).

My Program:
Eating much healthier and committing to exercise

Personal Information:
I am a 42 yo physician (currently not practicing) with a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys who I am now staying home to take care of. It has been a long, long time since I made myself and my health a priority and I am committed to it now!

I was thinking about you this morning. I hope things are okay for you, that your boys are doing well and you taking care of yourself! I haven't seen you on SparkPeople for awhile now, hopefully that means you're just busy enjoying the winter with those cute little boys!
