Hello!

My story is pretty ordinary. Having two babies in just over two years left me vaguely 30 lbs overweight, and really missing my energy, happiness, and (let's face it) my flat tummy.

My two boys are 2 1/2 years, and 14 months old, and while they mean everything to me, I cannot continue to use taking care of them as my excuse to NOT take care of me.

Since starting my weight loss journey in May 2010 I have lost 17 lbs. But for most of that time I wasn't doing anything (no exercising- Jack still wasn't sleeping through the night- but we did cut soda (mostly) and switch to turkey instead of beef and whole grains instead of useless bread and pasta)). The bulk of the work has been done in the last three months.

One night I just got really mad at my fat. I said to my fat: "Fat. It's been fun. But now it's time for you to die." :) We went that night and bought Jillian Michaels' '30 Day Shred' workout video, and the rest will be history! It's only a matter of time! I already feel so much better that there is no way I'm turning back now!

I want to feel efficient....as a Mom of 2 efficiency would be greatly appreciated! :)

I am trying at least one new healthy recipe per week! I want to learn to love cooking!

I am going to workout at least 30 per day.

I hope to lose 1 pound per week!

I hope to look great (be 15 or so lbs lighter) at my Husband's birthday dinner May 14th!
