My Goals:
2012:
-Strength Training 1 x per week, or 4-5x per month or 52 times in 2012
-Another Sub-28m 5k race (my last 5k was 27:48 set 9/18/11)
- A sub-1hr 10k (the closest Iíve come was 1:00:48 on 10/22/11)
-Finish Operation Back Fat Destruction once and for all!!
-Weigh under 165 (or under 28.5″ waist)
-Train appropriately for my races.

Long Term Goals:
-complete "Operation Back Fat Destruction"
-eventually finish a marathon in 5:00 or less
-finish a half in 2:15 or less
-Finish a 5k in 27 mins or less

My Program:
-Portion control.
-Walking my rottweiler daily.
-running 3x week.
-stretching/flexibility 1x week.
-light weights min 1x week.
-Increasing my protein. (I don't eat red meat or poultry and haven't since a pre-teen, so this is hard for me because my diet is carb-heavy.)

Personal Information:
I'm 31, I live in Brooklyn with my lawfully wedded wife, and our house full of pets and plants.

Other Information:
Started running 3/1/11, and in the first 8 months finished several races ranging from a 5k to a marathon. I've built my endurance; now I'm going to work on getting faster.

PRs:
5k: 27:48
10k: 1:00:48
Half: 2:32:22
(Automatic PR, first Half)
Only Marathon:6:21:xx, succumbed to hip injury and walked from mile 18 on. My splits were: 10k: 1:12:03, Half 2:38:40, 30K 4:04:12 and final 6:21.

emoticon thanks so much for recommending that apartment association! I hired the lawyer that did the bootcamp and eviction papers were sent to the court yesterday. happy happy joy joy sigh

Hey you! Wanted you to know I will be doing my first half marathon in the fall, and also a "sprint" triatholon in september! Went for my first run today in a while, and it was not pretty, but it was a start!

thanks for recommending that yahoo group. I went to the landlord boot camp end of Feb, learned a lot! Especially that I don't want to have to evict anyone!

Thanks for stopping by my page - I haven't been active on SP this year but I do mean to get back into tracking calories because it is literally the only thing that works for me to lose weight. I can do doubles (2 workouts a day like run in the morning and paddle my canoe at night) forever and not lose weight because I like to eat too much :) looks like you are doing GREAT however. Lookin' good! I like your race schedule, too. Did you find out if you got into NYC yet?
