My Goals:
My goal is to put my fat days behind me, and live the rest of my life as a FORMER fattie, respectful of the journey I've taken, but never going back again.

My Program:
Working on developing my intuitive eating to find my own "diet within," while taking cues from the Mediterranean menu. For cardio, I hike hills, nordictrack, and jump on a rebounder. For strength I like yoga and functional workouts like pull-ups, shovelglove, and dumbbell work.

Personal Information:
31 y/o male in Northern California. I'm 5'10" and have been as much as 210 lbs and as little as 140 in my adult life.

The two books I'm reading on the subject of intuitive eating are "The Rules of 'Normal' Eating" by Karen Koenig and "Intuitive Eating" by Tribole and Resch. They're both very good, and pretty much get at the same thing. I'm hard-pressed to recommend one over the other; I have links to both from my website at http://www.formerfattie.com

Thanks for the comment! I'm not a "walk into the pool" kind of girl, I usually just dive right in! Hopefully I will continue. There seems to be so much great support here at SparkPeople, which is awesome! I wish I would have known about this site sooner!
